Staging is in process

I finally got through to the SATO travel agency and they couldn't find a flight that would get me there on time the day of. I will be leaving to Houston a day early. I'm glad I'll have one evening to myself before our departure.

As of now, this is the plan:
June 3rd: depart from LA...drive up North
June 7th: drive home and meet up with my parents
June 8th: drive down to LA to catch our early flight the next day
June 9th: fly out to Indianapolis....visit the Ramirez-Aranda family
June 16th: fly back to LA...hopefully hang around a day or two
June 21st: fly to Houston
June 22nd: staging
June 23rd: fly to Honduras

Just saw my confirmation email

I am officially a PCV for Honduras! I just opened the confirmation email for my acceptance email. Back tracking, I received my invitation Friday and called Susy (best friend/roommate) to open and let me know my assignment. Of course, I almost screamed when I heard: Honduras, orientation scheduled for June 22, 2010 working as a Youth Development Volunteer. This sounds perfect! I am going to love this experience. Already as is, I have defeated the odds. I applied in late October, interviewed in early November, was granted a recommendation the same day, and now have received my invitation just 6 months later. =) On to completing the passport application!
